WHO AM I
Hi,

My name is Frederik Iedema, 36 years living in The Netherlands with my wife and two boys of age 1 and 2.5 yrs.
​
I'm an Azure Specialist graduated in Information Technology and Communications. All my jobs have been in the Infrastructure field such as IT Helpdesk, on-premise Systems Manager, Active Directory migration projects.
​
Hobbies: next to outdoor activities, and reading biographies, memoirs and essays, I enjoy exploring new ways of investing money such as stocks, bonds, crypto, p2p lending, real estate.
Also I enjoy a great bit of Tech. One of my bigger interests in spare time is programming. My biggest accomplishment: programming an Objective-C iPhone app and deploying it in the Apple App store.

Five years ago my focus has shifted to Cloud, specifically Microsoft Azure. My experience and knowledge in infrastrcture in combination with my interest for programming is a great combination for cloud. Once involved in cloud, there is no hard line between infrastructure and other fields of expertise.
Professionally I'm involved in Infrastructure as Code, Azure Devops, ARM Templates and any resources in Azure.
